Witnesses sought after cyclist killed in bus collision

A CYCLIST WAS killed last weekend, just after midnight on Saturday, 23rd November. The death occurred after a collision occurred between the cyclist and a bus on Westferry Road, E14.

As reports of the incident came in to the emergency services at around twenty-five minutes after midnight, police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. Medics treated the cyclist, a 45 year old man, immediately but despite their best efforts he died at the scene.

The driver of the bus involved in the collision stopped at the scene and is assisting the poice with their inquiries. No arrests have been made.

The police have appealed to the public for assistance. They would like to speak to any witnesses and they would like to see any dashcam footage any drivers may have.
