THE PIGEON PARTY was in disarray as members held selection meetings for the May 2022 elections. For a start, they are all looking in different directions. Second, although the platform is packed, there seems to be no one in the audience. Or maybe the birds on the railing are the audience – in which case, there seem to be no candidates sat waiting to be interviewed. Their bid for office may end in tears.
