Contaminated fishcakes recalled by ASDA

PLASTIC and metal may have contaminated ASDA’s beer-battered cod fishcakes – and the product has been recalled from sale. The contaminants may be present as small pieces within the product.

The affected product is the ASDA own-brand Beer Battered Cod Fishcake, which is sold in a 290g pack size bearing a sell-by date of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th May.

Anyone who has this product is advised not to eat it.  You should take it to an ASDA store to receive a full refund.
