Who saw Green Street gunman?

SHOTS were fired in a barber’s shop in Green Street, E13 on Saturday, 6th April – and police are calling for anyone who was in the area, saw the incident or has any information about it to come forward and help them with their inquiries.

The incident occurred at around 8.15pm and the gunman had left the scene by the time that police arrived – as had the person or persons who seem to be his intended victim(s).

Fortunately, it seems that no one was injured in the incident. The gunman is described as black, 6ft tall and of muscular build. He was wearing dark coloured clothing and his face was covered by a bandana.

The event is now being investigated by the Trident and Area Crime Command.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information but who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact them at Trident via 101, quoting reference CAD 7070/6APR. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
