Sylhet and Derai are the latest teams to make it through to the last eight of the Bangladesh Sports Network UK Cricket Upazila Championships.

Shofiqul Islam’s Derai pulled off the shock result of the day after beating Bangladesh District Cup holders Moulvibazar at Seven Kings Park.

The exit of the multi talented team sees AZM Johnny’s Sylhet boasting the likes of Mohammed Enamul Haque, Ripon Noor, Fakhrul Islam, Rahatul Ferdous Javed, Sanjid Ali and Ruman Ahmed are now installed as the favourites to lift the Upazila Cup.

Derai look forward to a tasty last eight clash with Beanibazar at Seven Lings Park next week.
