Police try to identify man after assault in Hackney

TWO MEN in their 20s became involved in an altercation with a third man after they left a bar in Curtain Road, Shoreditch. The incident occurred shortly after 11pm on Sunday, 11th July.

During the altercation, both men were assaulted. One suffered a fractured skull and the other was left with an injured leg.  Both men had to go to hospital for medical treatment as a result of their injuries. Both have since left hospital but they are still recovering from their injuries.

The two assaults are being investigated by detectives from the Central East Basic Command Unit. These officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their investigation into the assaults.
