Barking five in court on firearms charges

TEN PEOPLE appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court earlier this month charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to cause Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.

The arrests follow an operation in which firearms warrants were executed on 3rd March at eleven addresses in East London, Essex and Kent. Of the ten who were charged, three are under 18 years of age and cannot be named. One was from Kent and one from Essex. The five East Londoners are:
Veron Nikolla, 18, of Dovehouse Mead, Barking
Robert Ograja, 18, of Upney Lane, Barking.
Alex Thuo, 19, of Wivenhoe Road, Barking.
Ashar Silcott, 19, of Middleton Grove, Barking.
