Tower Hamlets parents and carers can get to grips with real nappies at a special “Nappuccino” event from 10am to 12 noon on Tuesday, 17th March at at Whitechapel Idea Store, 321 Whitechapel Road, E1 1BU.
The council will be working with the Washable Nappy Company to give advice on using real nappies. New and future parents will be able to meet mums and dads who are already using real nappies and find out the benefits of going green. Nappies will be available to buy at the event.
Tower Hamlets residents with a baby due or aged up to 18 months can apply for a voucher worth £40 to try real nappies. Residents must register for the event, as spaces are limited, and bring along proof of identity, address and birth or pregnancy in order to obtain a voucher.
