Police seek men after sexual assault on Elizabeth line

POLICE are trying to find two men in connection with a sexual assault which occurred on an Elizabeth Line Tube train at around 11pm on Saturday, 6th June just after a train left Whitechapel station.

The incident began when a group of buskers got onto an eastbound train at Whitechapel station. They stayed on the train until the next stop, which is Stratford. During the train journey, two men from the group sexually assaulted a woman passenger.

Detectives from the British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating the incident. They would like to identify the two men in the above photo They would like to speak to them as they believe they may have information that would assist this investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the assault, or can help the BTP identify the men in these pictures or who has any information which may assist the BTP is asked to contact the BTP by texting 61016 or phoning 0800-40 50 40.
