Man hurt in Mile End collision

A 50 YEAR OLD male pedestrian was injured when he was hit by a car in the early hours of New Year’s Day – 1st January. The collision occurred on Mile End Road at 3.15am.

The London Ambulance Service attended the scene and took the pedestrian to hospital. He remains in a critical condition and his next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision stopped at the scene. The police have not made any arrests and continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
