Jaden murder: new arrest as case heads to trial

JADEN MOODIE was just 14 years old when his life was brutally brought to a close. Someone attacked the young teen on 8th January in Bickley Road, Leyton, E10, driving a Mercedes at him and knocking him off a moped and then stabbing him – and Jaden died at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have been investigating the incident. An 18 year old man, Ayoub Majdouline of Lily Gardens in Wembley, was charged with murdering Jaden and is due to stand trial at the Old Bailey on 8th July.

However, it has now been revealed that a second man, aged 23, has been arrested in connection with the incident. The second man is being questioned at an East London police station.

Police have now renewed their appeal for members of the public to come forward if they witnessed the attack or have information about it. They are asked to contact the incident room on 020-8345 3734. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
