Globe Road attack: man in custody

POLICE ARE continuing to appeal for witnesses and information as a 26 year old man remains critically ill in an East London hospital after being attacked in Globe Road yesterday afternoon, 27th May.

Police have now confirmed that they arrested a 25 year old man late last night on suspicion of committing Grievous Bodily Harm. He was taken to an East London police station, where he remains in custody.

The police investigation continues. Anyone who witnessed the attack or has any other information which could assist the police is asked to contact detectives from the Central East Command Unit via 101 and quote CAD 5195/27May. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
