WE LOVE SPORT is celebrating the return of fans to live club football matches by offering everyone a free drink to enjoy while watching football in one of their 500 nominated pubs.
Many fans will be at the game, but for every fan who makes it to the ground, it is estimated that four fans will be heading for a nearby bar to watch their team perform on TV – and take in other live sport at the same time. Now fans who have the We Love Sport app (or download it now) can claim a free drink at a We Love Sport bar or pub during sporting occasions.
Bars operating the scheme in East London include:
•Dog & Truck, Stepney
•The Old George, Bethnal Green
•The Sports Bar & Grill, Canary Wharf
There is a range of drinks available, including beers and ciders as well as Coke, and the offer is open until 10th September.
Stephen Cooper, Sport Marketing Manager at Stonegate and We Love Sport, said, “Last season saw empty stadiums and pubs across the country on match day, and so the return of the Premier League is a huge moment for football fans across the nation. That’s why we want to truly celebrate, by offering pub-goers a free drink in one of our 527 pubs when sport is showing on the TV. All our pubs have Sky Sports and BT Sports, with 80 pubs offering Premier Sports & LaLiga TV too.”
