Dalston pineapple soda recalled as cans collapse

DALSTON SODA Company has recalled its pineapple soda drink as the cans may break apart unexpectedly. This could leave the cans with jagged edges which may cause injury.

There is no telling when a can would break apart, so a sudden collapse could be dangerous, depending on what you are doing when the collapse occurs.

The fizzy drink comes in a single can of 330ml, marked with the batch code 037130 and a best before date of 4th August 2027. These cans are also sold in multipacks of four cans, which are labelled with the batch code 037129 and the same best before date.

Anyone who has this product is advised not to drink it. Do not take it back to the store where you bought it. Handle the cans as little as possible, keeping them upright. Place them in a bag, seal the bag and dispose of the can in your household waste.

No receipt is necessary to obtain a full refund. Contact Dalston Soda for a refund:
