Birmingham Legends will host the fourth leg of the Inter City Bangla Cup at the renowned Alexander Stadium, a world class standard international venue located within Perry Park.
The Brummie veterans will be joined by Kent, Sussex, Essex, Luton and League leaders London on match day four.
The football roadshow has been hailed a big success as participating teams take turns in managing a match day fixtures programme.
Monjur Choudhury from Birmingham Legends commented, “We are proud to host the Inter City Bangla Cup and look forward to the football family visiting our city in February.
“The people of Birmingham are renowned for their hospitality and we have a fantastic track record of welcoming guests from all over the world.
“The Inter City Bangla Cup is a flagship football League with community at its heart, and we hope to put on a memorable day for all our member teams and supporters.”
Matches played at the second city will mark the halfway point of the League and games will thereafter resume after teams take a break for Ramadan.
As part of match arrangements all participating teams will finish the day with a meal at the celebrated Badshah Palace.
Playing at the Alexander stadium has really put the League on the map. As a venue it has been host to major events such as the Diamond League and the British Championships and has recently hosted the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics competition.
