Newham acid attack suspect in court

TOMLIN appeared at Southwark Crown Court on 8th August to answer two charges of committing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The charges arise out of an incident on 21st June, when a man threw a corrosive liquid over two people sat in a parked car in Tollgate Road, E16. The two victims were reported to have suffered serious burns and were expected to require long term treatment and have life-changing consequences.

At the hearing on 8th August, Tomlin, 24, of Colman Road, E16 was remanded in custody until his trial at Southwark Crown Court on 27th November.
