STUDENTS OF THE Yusuf Academy in North London are supporting needy children of similar age to them in one of the world’s most troubled countries. The youngsters filled up 90 bags with brand new toys for Ummah Welfare Trust to distribute to needy and orphaned children living in stricken cities in Syria.
Public relations officer Mohammed Imran said, “We are supporting similar aged children who have no home or hearth in Syria after being severely affected by the humanitarian situation there. These toys will provide the recipients with moments of great joy within the daily hell they live through and we are grateful to Yusuf Academy for the support and the children for their kindness. They are all role models.”
