IN OCTOBER we usually celebrate Black History. This month we are looking at how Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Councillors are making new history.

Cllr Anam Islam, Forest Gate North, Newham, Twitter, 27th June 2018: a good start on the Council, since when Cllr Islam has tweeted almost nothing – and special education is still underfunded. What a shame.
