Nicola, cancer… and Corona

NICOLA QUINN, a well known figure in the Tower Hamlets Labour Party, is being treated for breast cancer. That would be challenging at any time – but during the Coronavirus pandemic, treatment becomes more complicated.

Nicola is sharing her story with her many friends – and with anyone who wants to see a personal account of cancer treatment in Britain’s NHS during the Corona pandemic. She is making videos which are being shown by Vodcasts – a live streaming and video on demand platform based in East London.  Videos can be seen on the Vodcasts Facebook Page or You Tube channel.

Nicola’s first video – titled, for obvious reasons, Hair Loss – picks up her story of diagnosis and treatment options. It has been welcomed for its matter of fact tone and clarity. Watch Hair Loss now: Episode 2, Chemo, is coming soon.
