LONDON RIDERS CC has joined the Premier Division of the National Cricket League and is looking forward to the new season in the top flight.
The Club has a pool of some 30 members, from which it will pick a team to take to the field each week as the season progresses.
The team may change, but there will be continuity at the top. Sanjid Ali Sami has been appointed as skipper of the Club for the coming season. Sami has played cricket for various major teams in Bangladesh including Sylhet U19s, Mohaemmedan SC, Anirban and Brothers Union.
London Riders Chair Shumon Sharif said, “We are very much hopeful that we will pull up good results this year under Sami’s leadership. Players are motivated and eager to deliver on match days.”
