BUS PASSENGERS should be able to travel safely, without being threatened by predatory men. This is why police are keen to find a man who exposed himself on an East London bus last month.
The incident occurred between 7.30 and 7.45am on Friday, 5th November on a 149 bus travelling towards Liverpool Street. The man exposed himself and touched himself in an indecent manner, in full sight of two female passengers in their 20s. The man got off the bus at bus stop “D” on Shoreditch High Street, at the junction with Plough Yard.
Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating the incident and believe that the man may work near the bus stop at which he got off the bus. They have now released a CCTV image of a man they wish to question in connection with this incident.
●Anyone who can assist police in identifying and/or finding this man is asked to contact the police via 101 and quote reference 5035/5NOV. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
