IT’S CONGRATULATIONS to Providence Row Outreach Psychotherapy Service’s “A Place Within”, which is one of the three winners of the London Homelessness Awards for 2026.
The London Homelessness Awards are sponsored by the London Homelessness Foundation, London Housing Directors, the Mayor of London, Shelter and Crisis. All three winners will share a cash prize of £60,000.
A Place Within is part of Providence Row’s Outreach Psychotherapy service which offers accessible, therapeutic support for homeless people.
Tower Hamlets Council has sent huge congratulations for the win, posted on their “X” page (formerly known as Twitter) – and said how pleased it is to work with a partner delivering such impactful services. Sadly, the Council has fallen somewhat short in identifying its impactful partner. Its X post congratulates the truncated “Province” Row, rather than the much more widely known – and winning – Providence Row. Seems like the colonial mentality is still alive in a corner of the new Town Hall.
