Coca cola products recalled after chlorates found

A SMALL number of drinks produced by Coca Cola Europacific Partners have been recalled because they contain higher levels of the chemical chlorate than usual.

The risk is low – especially to those who only consume these drinks occasionally. However, people who are sensitive to chlorate, especially children and people who have a pre-existing medical condition such as have a mild to moderate iodine deficiency, anaemia or kidney disease.
