Volunteers celebrated at Community Event!

London Tigers and the Blackwall Reach Trust organised a community event open to local residents.

The very popular celebration was attended by almost 200 people and also hailed the inspiring achievements of of volunteers and members.

With many of the members and local participants having just completed observation of the month of Ramadan and the day of Eid last weekend it was a good time to enjoy a double celebration.

“I loved the Eid festival and would like to thank everyone for organising this really fun event,” said Aklima, who is a regular participant in the activities provided.

Special guests included Apsana Begum MP, Councillors Gulam Kibria Choudhury and Saied Ahmed along with Maium Miah Talukdar, Deputy Statutory Mayor of Tower Hamlets and Cabinet Member for Education, Youth and Lifelong Learning.
