Ekota Academy to host Dynamos Cricket Programme

Muhammad Hamza

Dynamos Cricket is a brand new cricket programme for 8-11 years olds graduating from All-Stars or those new to the sport.

The team at Ekota Academy in Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge are inviting young fledgling cricketers in an exciting, fast-paced, and energetic game of countdown cricket.

Shanaz Parvin, Abdul Hamid and Head Coach Emdad Rahman will be closely working with players to provide a safe, balanced and fun filled environment.

Parvin will also be running an eagerly anticipated girls programme.

Ekota Academy Managing Director Mizanur Rahman commented, “We had a fantastic summer in 2019 and the response was brilliant. The coaching was on point, inclusive and fun packed throughout.

“This year promises to be bigger and better and we look forward to welcoming, supporting and developing our new and old stars.”

Dynamos Cricket provides a fantastic next step for all those graduating from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport.

Complementing junior cricket, Dynamos provides children with a more social offer focused on developing fundamental movement skills and applying them in an exciting game of countdown cricket.

It is important to look like the heroes of the game, so every child who registers will receive their very own Dynamos Cricket New Balance t-shirt, personalised with their name and number.

The programme
* Children will use soft balls and light wooden bats
* Minimum of six 60-90 minute sessions
* Introduction to game play through a countdown cricket match
* New Balance personalised t-shirt with name and number
* Valuable time with your kids – mums and dads are encouraged to take part too
