Sylhet District have launched their tournament team strip ahead of the hotly anticipated cricket festival known as the Bangladesh District Cup.
The launch was attended by Team Manager Emdad Rahman MBE, Technical Director Maruf Hasan and team captain Mokhlisur Rahman Suton.
Speaking after the launch Sylhet District President Mesba Ahmed said, “Sunday promises to be a fabulous celebration of cricket, of our community and what it positively contributes to society.
“Cricket is a great leveller and we are all excited to be going up against some extraordinary players.”
Bangladesh Cricket Supporters Association (BCSA) President Abdus Salam added, “Well done to Sylhet on promoting this unique tournament. The best aspect of the very first Bangladesh District Cup is that it will ignite interest within people who generally don’t watch cricket.”
The inaugural Bangladesh District Cup 2019 is free to watch and takes place on Sunday 24th March 2019 from 12-5 pm at the UEL Sports Dock, 4-6 University Way, London E16 2RD.
