Forty-six teams entered this year’s Twenty20 Storm Cup 2016, the biggest tournament ever held by the National Cricket League. Out of those 46 teams, it eventually came down to two clubs in the final – Dark Horse CC and Rat Pack 1 CC.

Dark Horse CC won the toss and elected to bat first, reaching 150 for 8 in 20 overs. In reply, Rat Pack 1 CC ended up on 82 all out. This gave Dark Horse CC a win by 68 runs, and Haris Soomro’s team became “Twenty20 Storm Cup 2016” Champions.

The Man of the Match, by unanimous decision, was Hamad Ul Hassan (Dark Horse CC), with his all round performance of 70 runs and 2 wickets for 10 runs.

National Cricket League co-founder Sajid Patel said, “Overall it was a good team effort by all the players from Dark Horse CC. Thank you to those who made time to watch and support the Finals Day.”
