POLICE HAVE released a picture of Steven Brown, 47, who was murdered in Hackney last Thursday.
The picture has come out as police have revealed that the four men arrested in central London on 20th April on suspicion of murder have now been released under investigation. A further individual – a 49 year old man – who was arrested later that day on suspicion of perverting the course of justice has also been released.
Mr Brown died in St Matthias Road, Hackney in the early evening of last Thursday, but it is thought that he was attacked in nearby Cowper Road. Police continue to ask for anyone who was in the area at the time, or witnessed the attack or has any other information to come forward and help them with their inquiries.
