(1) HOPE

Love keeps us awake.
Love keeps us alive.
“Hang on, honey, life will be OK.”
Pain is inseparable, conditions deteriorate,
hoping for final blessing,
but heart pattern changes at the monitor.
We live on hopes and only
hopes keep us awake.
Hope is love,
a kind of tolerance.

(2) Day and night

I take refuge in night.
The darkness of it covers me
from all stray light.
I came out in daylight.
The ignorance is over,
I can see my way  ahead.
