A GROUP OF volunteers from the Human Relief Foundation (HRF) travelled to Bangladesh over half-term to deliver aid.
Volunteers from the Whitechapel branch visited the Rohingya Camp in Cox Bazar, followed by three days in Sylhet where they delivered aid and vaisited an orphanage and cataract operation clinic.
Khoyrul Shaheed from HRF said, “The volunteers have been fundraising for a year and had the opportunity to deliver the aid that they worked so hard for. This is an opportunity for the recipients to also say thank you in person.”
The team stayed in Bangladesh for the duration of the half term holidays.
