Aminul Islam Shihan plundered 150 not out as Scintilla went on the rampage to retain top spot in the race for the championship. Ayaz Karim’s men won the toss and batted first. Shihan’s inspired knock ensured Scintilla going into tea on 345/7 from 40 overs. Zisan Abedin added 30 runs, Juwel Roy 24, Ashish Morankar 25, and Ahmad Norharif Hamidon 15.

The challengers were bowled out for 147 in 27.3 overs, with Hamza scoring 32, as Scintilla CC won by 198 runs.

Man of the match Shihan said, “I’ve had to wait 19 games for a century. This has been a terrific day for our team.” Captain Ayaz Karim added, “It’s the consistency which pleases me the most. I can’t ask for more at the moment.”
