A MAN WAS stabbed to death in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon in an off-licence in Freemasons Road, Canning Town, London E16.
The emergency services were called just before half past three. By 15.40hrs, the Ambulance Service had arrived, found a 21 year old man with stab injuries and, sadly, declared him dead at the scene. The victim’s next of kin have been informed. Formal identification has not yet been made and a post mortem will be held in due course.
Three arrests have been made – on suspicion of murder. The three, believed to be men in their 20s, are being held in custody at an East London police station.
The investigation in this matter is being conducted by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC).
