London To Lace Up For The RunThrough Foundation 10k

Join RunThrough for a free 10k running event and celebrate the running community at its best.

Lace up, and get ready – The RunThrough Foundation 10k is coming to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – and it’s free to enter! Taking place on Sunday 3rd August 2025, this London 10k is your opportunity to feel empowered and make your mark on one of the city’s most symbolic landmarks.

The RunThrough Foundation is on a mission to break down barriers and help more people experience the benefits of running. By hosting free events that inspire communities to get active, the focus is on inclusive participation – with a proportion of places prioritised for first-time runners and underrepresented groups. Due to high demand, entry is via ballot, with multiple waves to ensure fair access.

Set in the heart of East London, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park isn’t just an iconic venue, it’s a playground for sporting history, and this is your chance to be a part of it.

Matt Woods, Co-founder of The RunThrough, says: “For too long, running has felt off-limits to so many people – whether it’s cost, culture, confidence, or just not seeing anyone like them at the start line. We’re hoping this event can break down some of those barriers, and encourage people to dig out their running shoes and give it a go.”

The ballot will close on July 14th with a final ballow reallocation wave on the 18th July.
