Birds Eye Ltd has recalled Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin Garlic Bread because it contains milk, but milk has not been listed on the ingredients.
The error arose because a batch of garlic bread was confused, during the packing stage, with another garlic break which contains cheese. Contamination may therefore have occurred.
Some people have allergies to milk and milk products. A severe allergy to milk products can kill from touch alone.
The product being recalled is in a 218g pack, showing the batch code 5020 and the best before date December 2025. Anyone who has this product and has an intolerance to milk or milk products should not consume it. You should take it to the shop where you bought it and you should obtain a full refund. If you have the product and you do not have a relevant energy, you should ensure that no one who has or might have an allergy eats it.
