The spirit of giving meets the beautiful game this November as community football takes centre stage at Mile End Stadium for a special Charity Match in aid of the Amratoli Eco Village project in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Two thrilling fixtures are lined up for the evening; Shapla Youth Force vs Jagannathpur and Shadwell FC Legends vs MM Charity Group, promising a celebration of unity, sport, and compassion.
Amratoli Eco Village: Building Hope and Sustainability
The Amratoli Eco Village is an ambitious grassroots initiative designed to promote sustainable living, renewable energy, and community development in rural Bangladesh. The project aims to provide clean water, solar power, eco friendly housing, and agricultural training for local families whilst empowering residents to lead healthier, more self sufficient lives.
Project lead Aftar Ali spoke passionately about the cause: “Amratoli Eco Village will build futures. We want to create a model for sustainable living that can inspire communities across Bangladesh. Every donation, every bit of support, helps transform lives and protect the environment for generations to come.”
This event is once again is a gathering of community champions, old friends, and families united by a shared goal: to make a difference.
Runu Miah from MM Charity Group shared his enthusiasm: “Football brings people together, and that’s exactly what we’re doing here. The Amratoli Eco Village is a symbol of progress and compassion. We’re proud to stand with our community to raise awareness and vital funds for this incredible cause.”
Spectators can expect an evening of competitive football, fun, and fellowship, all in the name of charity.
