This year’s Spring Gathering will be held at Tarling East Community Centre in Shadwell on Thursday, 1st May. The day will run from 10.30 till 3 with stalls, workshops, talks, free lunch and a tour of a local community garden. All are welcome and entry is free.

Spice it Up!
The Level 2 of the Spice it Up! organic food growing course is going to be held at CranbrookCommunityGarden on 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th May between 9.30am and 1pm.
Topics likely to be covered are: propagation; soil analysis; healthy cooking and eating; permaculture; fruit trees; growing non-traditional UK crops; grow to sell.
All are welcome, and the course is always great fun! Booking is essential, so please email foodnetwork@wen.org.uk to book your place.

Small Space Grow More

The East London Garden Society is organising a BestGarden competition, with the following categories:

Best Container/Balcony Garden
The Criteria:
Best usage of sustainability
Best usage of changing climate
Best usage of colour
How well the garden is maintained
