Cannabis Factory found in Bow

ELN:  Officers from the Partnership Task Force discovered a Cannabis Factory in Bow yesterday.

Officers had been called earlier at 13:00hrs, to Peel Grove, E2 when a Black taxi had been seen to sell drugs at the location, the vehicle was searched and a can of CS Spray found.

The occupant of the vehicle, 47 year old man, was arrested for possession of a Section 5 Firearm.

Following enquiries, a search was carried out at an address in Wellington Way, E3, where police discovered eight large cannabis plants in the loft along with lighting, extractors and watering equipment.

The 47year old man was further arrested for possession of cannabis along with a 56 year old woman.

Both were taken to an east London police station where they were released on police bail.
