Bikers get stuck in to Jam

BMX bikers and skateboarding enthusiasts put on a fantastic display of stunts, flips and air tricks at the Urban Wheelers Jam in Victoria Park on 9th April. The fun day attracted more than 800 residents and was organised by Tower Hamlets Council during the Easter break to encourage more young people to get active.

The wheel park boasts a full cradle, making it the only skate park in London to have one. Free activities on the day included skateboarding lessons, urban climbing wall, BMX biking, music, street dance workshop and a live graffiti wall. Zhou Zhag, whose four-year-old daughter turned out to be a pro on a skateboard, said: “Great! What a fun day. We loved it!’
