Beaumont Celebrate Quadruple At Inner London Football League Awards Night

Beaumont Masters were at the centre of the celebrations as the Inner London Football League hosted its much anticipated Veterans Football Awards Night, celebrating the achievements of seasoned footballers who continue to showcase their skills, passion, and dedication to the beautiful game.

The event, held at the vibrant Mayfair venue, brought together players, coaches, sponsors and fans for an evening of recognition and camaraderie.

Veterans football, designed for players aged 35 and above, has grown in popularity in recent years, offering a competitive yet social environment for experienced players. The league has become a hub for talent, fostering a sense of community while promoting fitness and well-being.

The awards night was an opportunity to honour individual and team successes from the 2024 season and trophies were presented to League winners with Premier League giants Mohammadan and Beaumont taking centre stage. in categories such as Player of the Season,

The evening also featured entertainment, with speeches from former professional players and a short video montage showcasing memorable moments from the season. Attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner, making it a night to remember.

The Inner London Football League continues to promote veterans football as an integral part of the local sporting landscape, proving that age is no barrier to excellence on the pitch. The awards night underscored the league’s role in uniting players and fostering a lifelong love for the sport.

Inner London Football League Chairman Rashid Ali spoke of unity during his keynote speech commented, “This is a League with foundations and principles based on community spirit and togetherness.

“Every week we have selfless volunteers from our team commandeering several football pitches in east and north London in order to provide football for hundreds of local people.

“This has gone a very long way towards improving physical and mental health whilst promoting clean and healthy living. Well done to all our teams, thank you to our sponsors and huge congratulations to all champions.”

Amongst other success stories Weavers FC took the First Division crown as champions, returning back to the Premier League.

This year the all conquering Beaumont Masters have broken all records by completing the Quadruple, TVL20 Premiership, TVL20 League Cup, TVL20 Div 4 Championship and the TVL21 Super Cup.
