POLICE ARE appealing to the public to help them identify and locate four men whom they believe were involved in an assault in Ilford. The incident took place at around 2.25pm on 1st October in Richmond Road.
Police believe that four young men jumped out of a blue VW Passat and attacked a 16 year old male on the street before making their getaway in the same vehicle. One of the attackers had a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm. The police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital, where he received medical treatment and was then discharged.
Detective Constable Charlotte Joseph from the East Area Command Unit said, “This was a brazen attack carried out in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street. Those involved are clearly dangerous individuals who need to be apprehended. I would ask anyone who recognises the two males in the images, or who has information that could identify the others involved to contact police immediately.”
