The Coalition Government made changes to the way in which GP surgeries are funded. As a result, Tower Hamlets was threatened with the loss of five surgeries – at a time when GPs are busier than ever.
News has just come through that a representative of the Limehouse Practice (one of the threatened GP surgeries) is to have a meeting with Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health, tomorrow – Wednesday, 17th June.
The Limehouse Practice has a petition here:

If you haven’t signed the petition yet, please do so – so that the Practice can show the Minister how much support they have. Once you have signed, please circulate this request to others. You can sign the petition no matter where you live!
Please act now and help keep the surgery open!
