The countdown is on for an eagerly anticipated community sporting events as The United Beanibazar Union Cup 2025 returns to the Robert Clack Leisure Centre, Romford, on Sunday, 21st September.
This year’s tournament is more than just about footballing glory. The Cup will be raising funds to support kidney patients in Sylhet, Bangladesh, with organisers pledging that in the long term the initiative aims to help build a dedicated dialysis centre in the region. For countless families battling the devastating impact of kidney disease, such a facility could mean longer lives, improved care, and hope for a healthier future.
“The Union Cup has always been about uniting people through sport, but it also carries a far greater purpose. We’re proud that our efforts will directly help kidney patients in Sylhet, and the dream of opening a dialysis centre will be a legacy for generations to come,” said the management team – Rahul A Rahman, Helal Uddin, Najimul Islam, Tajul Islam, and Ashok Ahmed – in a joint statement.
