A MAN HAS now been charged in connection with the incident outside the Seven Kings Mosque in Ilford on 9th May, when a gunshot was heard after a suspicious man came into the Mosque.
He is Jermaine Wright, 28, of Lebus Street, N17. He was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate. He was also charged with two counts of assaulting a police offer.
The incident is still being investigated by the Trident and Area Crime Command of the Metropolitan Police.
