Runners completed 5k, 10k and half marathon distances after taking over London’s oldest public park for Easter.

The run route saw participants take in Victoria Park on the borders of South Hackney and Bow – with the wide, flat paths providing many an opportunity for runners to achieve a personal best.

Run Through is a London-based running community with fun and affordable races organised throughout London and the UK. The next Run Through event in East London is the Chase The Sun 5k and 10k runs at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 11th April. This is a battle to get around the course before the sun goes down, starting on Wednesday, 11th April at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Racing around the grounds of London 2012’s Olympic Park, the flat and fast course is the perfect opportunity for a chip timed personal best. Starting at 7pm, you can chose to run a quick 5k or take on a full 10k. At the end of the race runners will be rewarded with a well deserved Chase the Sun themed medal.
