POLICE ARE appealing for help from the public as they try to find a man who was found dead on Hackney Marshes two years ago. This is not a suspicious death, but despite their best efforts police have so far not been able to identify him.

Police have now released an e-fit of the man, who is described as south-east Asian. He was clean shaven, with black hair which was turning grey. He appeared to be in his early 40s, about 5ft 6ins tall and weighing approximately eight tone. His teeth were in poor condition, with some missing.

The man was wearing several layers of clothing. He had a black North Face jacket, a dark grey hooded top with a front ip and a white knitted V-neck jumper. He had light blue jeans with orange sees and a small brown leather logo on the front right mini-pocket, a black belt with a silver coloured plain buckle and black trainers with what appears to be a white Lacoste logo on the tongue of the shoe.

Anyone who has information which could help police is asked to contact Hackney Missing Persons via 101 or to call Missing People on 116000. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
