A SWASTIKA was spray-painted onto the side of a building in Stour Road, Bow, E3. The vandalism occurred at around 11.30pm last Tuesday, 7th May.

Police believe that three people were involved. They were all dressed in dark clothing. One had a pedal bike with him. After spraying the graffiti, the three left the scene via Dace Road, heading in the direction of the canal.

Detective Sergeant Fran Latham of the Central East Safeguarding team said, “We’ve taken this report extremely seriously and are appealing for anyone who may have seen three people in the Stour Road area around the time of the incident to get in touch with us. We believe the premises may have been specifically targeted and behaviour such as this will not be tolerated.”

Anyone who has information is asked to call Tower Hamlets police via 101, quoting ref 4213598/19. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
