Local businessman Kam Ali was among the winners at the twelfth Community Leadership Awards Gala Dinner in partnership with SOAS, University of London.
The glitzy event took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Western Gateway, London.
The philanthropreneur was presented with a leadership award for services to the charitable sector from the University of London.
Speaking after receiving his award, a very happy Kam said, “I am extremely pleased and humbled to have received such a prestigious honour. Thank you to everyone for the recognition and I hope I can inspire members of my community to continue doing good works, and especially youngsters to emulate this.”
