THREE MORE arrests were made over the Easter weekend as police search for the murderer of 18 year old Lyndon Davis – bringing the total number of arrests in the case to four. Police continue to appeal for witnesses.
Police were called out on 14th March to reports of a late evening assault being seen on Padnall Road, Chadwell Heath, RM6. They found Lyndon Davis suffering from a stab injury on nearby Nash Road, RM6. He was given emergency medical treatment and taken to an East London hospital, but sadly he died in the early hours of the next morning.
A 34 year old man was arrested early in the investigation on suspicion of murder. He has since been released on bail while inquiries continue. He is due to report to police in mid-April.
On Easter Sunday a 17 year old youth was arrested, with two more youths – aged 15 and 16 – being arrested the following day. All three were questioned at an East London police station and later released on bail, to return in mid-April.
