Make time for wine

April 08, 2014

The first week of June is (horrors!) not that far away, so if you want to take part in London Wine Week (which runs from 2nd to 8th June) it’s time to get your wristband now.

This is the first London Wine Week: why has no one thought of it till now? The deal is that you buy your wristband for £10 and you can then enjoy premium wine by the glass or flight for just £5 in some of London’s finest bars and restaurants. All featured wines would usually only be available by the bottle, priced at £35 or above, so a small investment in a wristband should yield great returns in terms of your drinking enjoyment.

Venues already confirmed include Hawksmoor, Sager & Wilde, Vinoteca, 28°-50°, Barbecoa, Fifteen, The Providores, Bleeding Heart, MASH, with many others expected to come on board before the week itself begins.

London Wine Week comes from the team behind the hugely successful London Cocktail Week, which will be taking place for the fifth time this year from 6th to 12th October. Until 22nd April, you can save £5 by pre-ordering wristbands for both events for £15 in total. Wristbands will be available to collect from the central London collection hubs once each festival starts.

Head to www.londonwineweek.com to buy wristbands, and join the conversation @LDNWineWeek.
