THE TRENDY Momlette Fusion Cafe in Brick Lane are proud to announce that they will be sponsoring the up and coming Bengali professional boxer Khalid Ali.

Khalid is the son of local boxing coach Walid Ali, who has done much to promote boxing as an alternative to antisocial behaviour and inspired youngsters to engage with the sport. The boxing protégé, who is signed under Frank Warren, has enjoyed success since emerging on the scene.

On behalf of Momlette café, Shahaveer Hussain commented, “Khalid Ali is an exceptional young man and we are really pleased to be able to be supporting such a precocious talent. He is a young man with a sense of belonging and a heightened sense of achievement, and he takes his role model status very seriously. We are all very proud of him and wish him great success in his career.”

●Khalid (4-0) is fighting Croatian Ivica Gogosevic tonight on the undercard of undefeated, unified light-heavyweight champion of the world, Artur Beterbiev and Anthony Yarde. The fight can be viewed tonight on BT Sport from 7pm onwards.
